Morgan holds a Doctor of Engineering, with research focused on competitive advantage and technology diffusion. His work spans leadership, continuous improvement, facilitation and organisational transformation.

Inducted into the Shingo Academy in 2025, Morgan has chaired 24 international conferences and coached companies to international awards.

His work includes helping Commonwealth Bank of Australia become the first financial institution to receive a Shingo Silver Medallion and supporting BHP’s Escondida Cathodes operation in Chile in achieving the Shingo Prize. Escondida was the first BHP operation worldwide to receive the prize and the first private mining company in Chile to receive that recognition.

Titles such as Mastering Facilitation, 4 + 1 and Transform Behaviors, Transform Results! look at different parts of the same challenge: helping people and organisations make progress that lasts.

In Believe, Morgan turns to the relationship between a leader’s beliefs, their behaviours and the results they create. The forthcoming Believe in Me brings that conversation to personal belief.

His published work includes Shingo Publication Award-winning titles and International Impact Book Award winners. Selected books support charities working in dementia, mental health, Parkinson’s research, children’s cancer support and veterans’ education.
